Dear Child

Dear Daughter,
I'm starting this off of an idea I had. Maybe an idea God gave me. I don't know how faithful I'll be in writing these letters, or if you will exist in human reality one day in the future. I really don't know anything but I pray to God that somehow this will be used. I'll try not to complain too much about people here even though it shouldn't be read by them. I can create another blog to vent on to do that. I'm not sure exactly all what I'll write yet. May God speak through me for that.
Sometimes I'm scared of raising children in this world, a world that seems only to get worse and looks only to get worse until Christ returns. I wonder what you will have to face, what trials you will have to go through. I also have these strange thoughts, not fears really, that I won't live to be a grandparent, or maybe Christ will return before then.
I also wonder what you'll look like and who you will be. :-) I wonder also who your earthly father will be. I wonder if I'll be a good mother, what mistakes I'll make, what I will do right. I wonder how much I'll be there for you and I worry that I may let a career, my passion, my being for activism get in the way of being there for you.
Those are just some thoughts for now. I love you daughter dear and I wait to meet you.
Love,
Mom
